Roads to Nowhere

A topic within my general theme of the individual being in the world are pictures in which roads seem to lead to nowhere. They draw our attention to what might be at the end of the road we are seeing.

Human beings on these roads seem to head into nothingness, on their way to an uncertain future, to a destination they and we do not know. It is movement and space, direction and pointlessness which are expressed in these pictures.
